Shaina Cahill, Ph.D / Director of Medical Communications and Affairs

Meet Shaina, our Director of Medical Communications and Affairs at Novel Biome. Shaina received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia and has been working in the field of medical affairs for over 4 years, since leaving academia. Passionate about medical education and scientific communication, She has a profound interest in alternative medicines that harness the body’s innate systems and has extensive knowledge of all things FMT and the gut microbiome, with a special interest in gut-brain communication and its role in disease.
